I am contemplating whether or not I should sell my copy of the bluray.. But there has been some jokers who want a few dollars discount off my asking price.. LOL.. What is it with people nowadays? 1-2 dollars also want to fight? -_-
When You Buy Things Online..
April 1, 2009 at 6:52 pm | Posted in Anime | Leave a commentThe joys of buying stuff online is that it will be delivered straight to your place, and you don’t have to go around Singapore shopping for the item you want. Well the other joy for me is that I can purchase R1 anime dvds without buying stupid R3 anime dvds that aren’t even worth my money.
Play-Asia had their sale previously, and I saw the chance to purchase Lucky Star anime R1 dvds(only bought 2, 1 for 12.90 USD, good price)
Opened my mailbox yesterday, only to find out that my dvd disc has scratches(because of the dvd clamp that holds the disc being broken -_-)
Well emailed Play-Asia, and luckily they agreed to send me a free replacement, goodness, if not I would just be shaking my head in dismay.
I should be getting my 2nd dvd next monday or tuesday, and my free replacement around the same time too LOLX!
My Other Hobby

Being a fan of anime, am still am, just that recently too much is on my plate that I can’t seem to spare time for anime 
Well figurines collection must go on, and yes the figurine below is the one I have been waiting for a very long time!!

Just ordered her yesterday from the shop. I can buy her online, but the crazy yen rate is too unpredictable, and she cost a freaking 12,000 plus yen! With shipping, she’s likely to hit 17,000 yen or more? lol.
Well she will be mine in August. I paid a deposit of 50 dollars yesterday. Need to fork out 140 dollars in August. Yes, she cost me 190 dollars T_T. My most expensive figurine ever~!!

Saw LOTR receiving a score of 5/10….. Okay maybe I shouldn’t consider buying this game at all XD.

Lord of the Rings Conquest PS3 R1 at 45 dollars
Sonic Unleashed PS3 R1 at 45 dollars too!!
And well in Singapore we only can find R3 for LOTR and it would be priced at around 60+ dollars. A 2nd hand LOTR would cost a nice 40 dollars, whereby I will gladly tell you that I rather purchase from PA, 45 dollars for a brand new game, and its R1! LOLX.
Okay but at the end of the day, when I checked back the next day, the two games were already back to their “cheap” prices, so yeah, I guessed I have no fate with PS3 games on offer =3.
So anyway, do head on down to Play-Asia, you might see some cheap games for XBOX or PS3.. ^_^

PSN Games: Spending?

So far I purchased the following games from the PSN Store, via sharing or on my own. I am in charge of the groupies =D.
Asia PSN
- Gomibako – 8 dollars (1 slot left)
- Burnout Paradise – 8.80 dollars (all full)
- Street Fighter II Turbo HD – 3 dollars (all full)
US PSN
- Savage Moon – 10 dollars (2 slots left)
- PixelJunk Monster – 4 dollars (2 slots left)
- Noby Noby Boy – 4 dollars (2 slots left)
If anyone realised, its the trophies that I bought the games, and well, of course I bought the PSN Store games after reading reviews! =D
And well, the listed game below is what I shared with people, sadly, it’s only one game. My user profiles on my ps3 is overloading, that’s why I’m resorting to using 1 main asia/us accoun to buy my PSN Games!

Wheel of Fortune is now available on US PSN Store for $14.99. There are also trophies to earn. Lol?! I can consider getting this game, but the cost of around 20+ SGD is pretty expensive . If only they made a monopoly game with trophies too(not the one that was released last year)
Valkyria Chronicles DLC

The first pack, Hard EX Mode, will let you play through the main campaign again but against tougher enemies — and without the assistance of the trusty tank, Edelweiss. The second pack, an Edy mission titled “Enter the Edy Detachment,” will let you play as Edy in an attempt to save a small village from the Imperial forces — after having been separated from the rest of the squad.
Lastly — and perhaps most intriguing — is the Selvaria mission titled “Behind Her Blue Flame,” which puts you in control of an Imperial engineer named Johann assigned to Selvaria’s troop. This will give players the rare opportunity to see Selvaria through the eyes of an Imperial soldier.
Okay, no price has been given yet, but I haven’t played VC at all XD. Maybe they should implement trophies with the game.. Then I will consider getting the game =P.
LBP KZ2 DLC

The KZ2 costumes cost around 4 dollars with 2 available costumes for your sackboy, and themed stickers!
Next up is Buzz Costume, don’t know whether my DLC Group will want to get, since I am the one who is in charge of purchasing the DLC! Haha! But the week after that, Patapon DLC Costume will be out, definitely a get!! Think patapon costume will be a mask on the face =3
Resident Evil 5
March 20, 2009 at 7:14 pm | Posted in Game | 3 CommentsBeing a girl, it’s natural to be afraid of horror games/movies etc. I don’t believe in going to watch a horror movie, since I’m paying to scare myself. Weeks before the RE5 was officially released, I downloaded the RE5 demo from the PSN Store.
Lol I must be damn sadist since I found joy in shooting the zombies.
One particular LBP Kaki asked me whether I was going to get RE5(we were playing the demo together) I told him flatly – NO.
But in the end, because of the horrible wait for Demon’s Souls(thanks to MDA busy playing KZ2 and RE5) I bought Re5 because I was bored(NO DS!!!) Yeah so here I am now, I actually bought the game, and completed the story!
Of course.. I think sometimes I will scream.. So only play with me if you want to hear me scream -_-
Resident Evil has always been a nightmare for me. I grew up watching my brother play the PS1 Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and I was always hiding behind the cushion when I watched him play. Well this is my first horror game.. and I love the online coop play, I can ask people to protect me =X
